EBIKECHOOSE WARRANTY POLICY

Your EbikeChoose e-bike and e-scooter warranty is subject to the regulations of the state or country where the purchase was made. This warranty only applies to products bought directly from EbikeChoose.


Our Approach to Resolving Product Issues

When a component is confirmed to be defective or damaged through manufacturing fault (not user error), we'll send a replacement part from our nearest warehouse in the US/Canada/UK/Europe. Our team will guide you through the replacement process. Parts damaged during transit will be replaced at no cost. Should a product prove unrepairable after a reasonable number of repair attempts (as determined by EbikeChoose), we'll provide a replacement unit to the owner.

EBIKECHOOSE WARRANTY COVERAGE

FRAME AND FORK:

Aluminum Frames:

EbikeChoose provides lifetime warranty coverage on aluminum bike frames against manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship for both original and subsequent owners.

Carbon Fiber Frames:

Our carbon fiber e-bike frames carry a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship.

Important Notes:

  • This warranty covers frame replacement only—labor costs for transferring components to a new frame are not included
  • Replacement work must be performed by an authorized EbikeChoose bike owner

Frame issues NOT covered include:

  • Rust and corrosion
  • Finish deterioration, scratches, or impact marks
  • Crash or impact damage
  • Permanent modifications (drilling/welding)
  • Chain guards attached to the frame (where applicable)

COMPONENTS:

All additional components, frame attachments, and finishes (paint and graphics) are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and/or craftsmanship for 6 months from the original purchase date. (Shipping costs for warranty replacement parts are the customer's responsibility.)

This limited warranty excludes:

Regular wear and tear unrelated to manufacturing defects. EbikeChoose assesses wear and tear on a case-by-case basis. Typically excluded parts include:

Brake pads; rotors; spokes; tires/tubes; chains; chainrings; cassettes; cranksets

  • Components damaged by environmental corrosion (humidity, temperature, etc.)
  • Cosmetic deterioration or aesthetic wear on product surfaces
  • Frames, forks, handlebars, seatposts, saddles, brakes, lights, cranksets, pedals, rims, hubs, flywheels, cassettes, derailleurs, shifters, motors, throttles, controllers, wiring harnesses, LCD displays, brackets, reflectors, and hardware are covered within one week of delivery—damage occurring after seven days of use will incur charges

This warranty applies to fundamental electric bicycle or scooter components found to be defective, assuming the product has been used appropriately and maintained according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Fundamental components include bicycle frames, motors, batteries, displays, and controllers.


EBIKECHOOSE WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

Electrical Component Corrosion:

Important: Corrosion on electrical parts is not warranty-covered. Keep battery contacts and electrical connections dry to prevent corrosion and oxidation. Use electrical contact cleaner when necessary to maintain clean connections. In harsh weather conditions (such as areas using road salt in winter), apply battery terminal grease as protection.

Additional Exclusions:

  • Labor fees for component replacement or modifications
  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, improper use (including stunts, racing, or activities beyond intended purpose), inadequate storage, excessive exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, dirt, neglect, or unusual physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage unrelated to EbikeChoose electric bicycle or scooter defects
  • Products with removed, obscured, damaged, modified, or unreadable serial numbers or barcodes
  • Damage from using accessories, products, or peripheral devices not supplied or authorized by EbikeChoose
  • Damage from incorrect assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment that deviates from assembly instructions and user manual guidelines
  • Damage from external factors including collisions, fire, flooding, storms, lightning, earthquakes, weather exposure, theft, electrical surges, or incorrect power source usage
  • Electric bikes not purchased from the EbikeChoose official online store

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you suspect a warranty issue with your EbikeChoose e-bike or e-scooter, contact the EbikeChoose retailer where you made your purchase first. Your retailer will submit a claim to EbikeChoose on your behalf.

Warranty registration occurs automatically when the original purchaser orders from the EbikeChoose official store. The 1-year warranty period begins when the original owner receives delivery.


EXTENDED WARRANTY FAQs

Q1: I bought a used EbikeChoose bike. Is the frame still under warranty?

A1: Yes, warranty protection extends to original and second owners when these conditions are satisfied:

  • The 1-year warranty period from the original owner's delivery date hasn't expired
  • You possess the original owner's name and initial order number

Q2: What happens if my EbikeChoose e-bike gets stolen?

A2: Unfortunately, theft is not covered by warranty. We strongly recommend investing in a high-quality lock to secure your bike when not in use.

Q3: My bike/frame was damaged in a crash. Does warranty cover this?

A3: Unfortunately, collision or accident damage is not warranty-covered. Our warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects and does not extend to crash-related damage.
